So, you've studied body types, clothing styles, and assembled your basic wardrobe. Where to begin? Follow our advice!
Don't copy anyone. You can be inspired by a celebrity or friend, but never try to exactly repeat someone else's image.
Experiment with your items and styles. Try combining things that seem completely incompatible to you.
Complete your look with accessories; they can add zest to even the most boring combinations at first glance.
At the same time, try not to overload the image. If you are in doubt about something, put it aside for a while.
Don't be afraid of change. Over time, a person changes and, accordingly, his style too. At 20, you only wore boho, and at 30, suddenly you were drawn to classics? This is fine!
Find your own style, no need to blindly follow fashion.
Don't forget that not everyone is born with the ability to dress fashionably, it can be easily learned!
Feel free to peek
When you are faced with the task of developing good taste, spying on others is not only possible, but also necessary! Look through fashion magazines and shows, follow the pages of stylists, designers and people whose clothing style you like.
It is important not just to look at this beauty, learn to analyze it. Ask yourself questions.
Do you like a particular look and why? Are you attracted by the clothes and their combination or by the success of the person wearing them? Maybe you are delighted with the composition in the photo and it is not the image that attracts you, but, for example, the Eiffel Tower in the background? Make sure you like the clothes. As soon as you do this, immediately ask yourself a series of questions that will bring you closer to your cherished goal: Where could I go with this? Is this suitable for me personally? What emotions and sensations does this image evoke in me? How can I adapt it for myself?
Ideally, you need to create a folder with photos of those bows that you especially like. Review it from time to time and edit it by adding and removing photos.
Self acceptance
In my opinion, this is the most important reason (in fact, much more important than being liked by the opposite sex).
After all, accepting her appearance, given by nature, gives a woman a feeling of her own worth and uniqueness. We clothe this acceptance in those outfits that emphasize our difference and our beauty. By dressing beautifully, choosing clothes that suit us, we broadcast our own inner state and attitude towards ourselves, our desires and needs. The language of clothing is the language of our worldview. Sometimes it happens that what prevents a woman from accepting herself and admiring her uniqueness is precisely her inability to dress beautifully. So you can go from the opposite. While sorting out your own wardrobe, start searching for your own value and uniqueness.
Unfortunately, we see women on the streets who redraw their faces, dye their hair and try to fit themselves into an incomprehensible ideal. Women who have given up on themselves, with inappropriate hairstyles, overgrown eyebrows and gray baggy clothes, don't look any better. Who are they hiding from in these outfits? Is it not from ourselves?
Wear what suits you
The pursuit of fashion sometimes makes girls look stupid. Don't blindly follow trends, try to create your own style.
When choosing clothes, rely on your body type. Determine what type of figure you have: apple, pear, rectangle or inverted triangle. For each type, there are many recommendations on the Internet for choosing clothes. Check them out and try to follow them.
Also learn the universal rules that will help you always dress adequately and appropriately:
You don't need to be too tight on your curves. Remember the rule: if you wear a tight top, then the bottom should be loose, and vice versa.
The same goes for bare areas of the body. If you don't want to look vulgar, flaunt one thing: either your legs, or your stomach, or your cleavage. And only in cases where the context allows. In general, you can emphasize femininity and sexuality in more delicate ways. For example, focusing on the waist with a belt, exposing the shoulder, ankles or wrists.
Create a capsule of 5-7 basic items that will fit perfectly with each other and suit your lifestyle and appearance. Then you won't have to worry about what to wear every day. Then it will be possible to dilute your wardrobe with bolder accent pieces.
Invest in things that will not lose their relevance after many years. These include, for example, a classic coat, a trench coat, a loose-fitting leather biker jacket, black pumps, lace-up boots, and Cossack boots. Think ten times before buying a seasonal trendy item that will be out of date in six months.
